Turkish days in Hungary
Authors: Patricia Barta, Alexandra Nagy

After that long, lovely week, Kitti, George and our teachers arrived home from Turkey with lots of unforgettable experiences. They were enthusiastic, but at the same they were upset to leave Turkey, because they had never been to such a wonderful and special country before.

On the first day we, Kitty’s friends, immediately urged her to tell us about everything. You know, this is the most incredible country that you can ever imagine- told us Kitty- and it was very interesting to listen to what she said. She told us she had bought a lot of stuffs, including scarves and necklaces, and she got many many presents from the hospitable people and even from unknown boys who said how beautiful Kitti was. She mentioned they had been to Istanbul too and had seen women wearing head-scarves, It was really special for the Hungarian group, because in Hungary it’s not a tradition. She also told us about famous sights and incredibly tasty dishes that they had tasted in Turkey. After a week, Kitti wrote an article ,inserting a photo, for the local daily newspaper of Nyíregyháza(we live here) .In the article she reported back  about her wonderful experiences about the Turkish trip. Some weeks later the article was published in the School Magazine as well. It was really successful, everything  she wrote was fascinating about how they „remember the meaningful sights „

Spanish days in Hungary
Author: Petra Köteles

First of all we want to say thanks for everything. The week we had spent in Spain was unforgettable for us ( Patrícia Barta, Klaudia Dalanics, Katalin Rácz, Petra Köteles) and for our teachers too. When our classmates asked about the time we had spent in Spain we could say just nice things. We  wanted  to share our experiences with students and teachers of our school so we prepared a wonderful exhibition in the assembly hall of the school..We collected photos and texts about Spain and  we decorated 7 boards with nice pictures, photos and added some interesting information about dishes, tipical traditions and famous sights of Spain. Gifts, books and other colourful minor objects  were dispayed in glass-topped cabinets.
Ms Myrtill Juhász our  history teacher collected some basic information about Spain and made a quiz with 13+ 1 questions. We, students, had to find the answers by reading the information on the exhibition boards. The winner of the quiz won a nice Spanish cake with Spanish sights on the top. This cake was not just attractive but  delicious. The winner was my classmate so we ate it up  together with my class. The second and third prizes were English books.

German days in Hungary
Author: Petra Köteles

After the nice days the Hungarian students and teachers came home from Germany with really nice experiences. They told us lots of interesting aspects about Germany and the week that they spent there. Of course it was hard for them when they had to say goodbye to their friends but they will never forget the time that they spent there. They could make friends easily and could see unforgettable sights. They wanted to share these things with the other Hungarian students  so we made an exhibition in our school’s assembly hall.  We decorated the display panels with colorful pictures and some texts about Germany. The nice pictures and photos which were displayed could help everybody to imagine how good  time they had in Germany. Ms Myrtill Juhász made a quiz about this fascinating country. A lot of students took part in the competition  which helped us to have useful information about Germany. We could find the answers in the glass-topped cabinets and on the boards if we read the information displayed, accurately. The winner got a cake with some special German decoration of course ( The Brandenburg Gate ) .For the other competitiors, who did the 13+1 quiz well, English books were given as a reward.
